Organ Donor
After watching this 90 second video, I registered to become an organ donor.
I registered here: https://register.donatelifecalifornia.org/register/. I told them they can have anything except my heart and they can’t use me for “research”, which is (I assume) mostly being a cadaver for med school.

What you do not know is that those ‘donated’ organs are then in fact sold for profit even if not on ‘black market’.
I do not remember the name of the movie but there was a pretty gorry horror movie that expressed this for profit process.
If anyone ‘donates’ they better make it darn clear that no one and no company fiction is to in ANY manner ‘sell’ those donated organs, and my preference is that the entire ‘transplant’ process is to be at NO CHARGE.
Cynthia, I’d like to hear more about your take on the situation. I did some googling and couldn’t find any claims of selling organs for profit. But I did find the opposite, that with a continuing organ shortage, people are trying to think of ways to offer incentives for organ donors that are morally sound.
If the horror movie you saw concerning organs being sold was fictional then it doesn’t give me pause.
