Fixed delayed comment problem
WP-Cache and Spam Karma had an incompatibility. It made it so that when you post a comment to my blog, there was a delay of an hour before you see the comment. Spam Karma 2.3 RC1 fixed that problem.

So, if my blog ever gets to be read by anyone, Spam Karma 2.3 RC1 is something I could use? Or is it not, since I only have a bare bones free wordpress blog?

It seems this is only for folks who host their own wordpress blogs. So the answer to my above question would be, “no.”

Spam Karma is for WordPress and not Livejournal (your blog). WordPress.com (which is a blogging service that uses WordPress, just to be clear) uses Akismet by default but I like SK better as I’ve seen less spam with it. If you’re on WordPress.com, you can use either SK or Akismet.
