Obsidian Still Rocks

Just gonna geek out here: I totally love the Obsidian note taking tool!

Over the last year, it’s been replacing much of my Google Docs notes, task management, reminders to myself. I strongly prefer using it for parts of my work, putting info exactly where I need it in a way that’s organized the way I want it to be. Obsidian is remarkably straightforward and sandbox-like, which is to say you can do anything or nothing to your work environment, as you see fit. There’s a zillion useful plugins, of which I use very few because I’m interested in getting things done, not putting my data on a pedestal.
It costs $0 and I spend $4/month so it syncs with my phone, which works super-great.

The Obsidian website initially might feel a little “woo-woo”. Just know that it’s awesome.

I think the most core features are:
– WYSIWYG Markdown editor
– Very easy wiki-links between documents
– that’s it. You’d think there’s more but those are so useful

Obsidian – so hot right now, Obsidian.
