Slings and Arrows

Maura told me I should see the TV Show Slings and Arrows a while back. I just got to it after seeing the end of Breaking Bad Season 4 and Walter White graduating to actual evil (hope I didn’t spoil it for you) I needed a different kind of stimulation. Slings and Arrows is passionate and terrific. Join me!

Megan, I just finished watching season 1 and I could watch it again with you. And then there’s season 2 & 3!

A Terrific Holiday Break

I’ve been terrible about blogging about this of late, but I need to say what a great time I’ve been having with Megan and family over the holiday. We saw the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, opened presents and presents, went to Santa Rosa and to Bodega Bay. Megan is the greatest. I’m also thankful for a few moments of quiet after my stressful semester of classes, GRE studying, volunteering, and application putting-together.

San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. The show was great fun!

Doesn’t Megan look terrific by the sea? What’s better than Instagram? When it’s real! I’ll give a gold star to whoever can tell me how I made this photo (hint: no digital effects were used)

Razors Kinda Suck

My electric razor is currently in the Berkeley Police property room awaiting me (long story). After 2 days without a razor, my face felt like a porcupine autofelating itself: not good. I’ll get my electric back soon but I had to pick up some interim Bic razors at Walgreens.

After lathering up my face, I touched the razor to my upper lip, gave it a tuGGHHHHAAARRRRRGwhatthefaaaahk?! Ouch!

What the hell are people thinking, using a razor instead of an electric is masochistic! I’ve used a rotary electric razor since 1990 and never looked back. And today I was reminded as to why!

Screw bladed razors, get a Norelco rotary electric razor! They rock!

One-Word Facebook

I received and then participated in a fun little Facebook exercise that proved to give me a good smile. It was really nice seeing friends check-in, if only briefly.
