C# books

Dearest Lazyweb, I’ve got to learn C# for work. I’m learning pretty much from scratch. Can you recommend any titles?

Are the IEEE Computer Society online books any good?

I did some programming in college (a million years ago) and I’ve written some automated test scripts not too long ago…

(In case you don’t know, C# is a computer programming language)

    My goodness.

Welcome to the dark side Lee! My take on C# (one of the four main languages that we use here at work) is that it’s Bill G’s attempts to take over Java. You’d probably be pretty well off getting a simple java tutorial and then learning the C# differences. As a language it’s closer to java than C/C++.

All that being said, I don’t use C# for web related stuff so I can’t provide comment on those applications.
