Taken from an email written by Dorothy to Noni 9-12-05. I haven't tried it yet but apparently it was a hit in the Poconos.

From Dorothy:
Put this recipe in your file and make it some time. It is absolutely delicious!!!!! This is the dish that Marie Alunni brought up to the Poconos and I'm sharing it with you...............................

Recipe can be doubled

  • 8oz. cooked linguini (one pound)-'fine' is best
  • 6 chopped scallions
  • 2 coarsely shredded carrots
  • 2med broccoli tips (uncooked) cut small

  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 2- 4 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 squirts lemon juice
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 2 drops Tabasco
  • 4 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Cook linguini, rinse with cool water. Mix linguini, broccoli, carrots, and scallions.

Heat dressing until warm and pour over salad. Toss and chill overnight or until served.
