Gail’s Chocolate Chip Cookies


Modified Infamous Recipe from Neiman Marcus
Makes A LOT of cookies, might do a ½ recipe.


FULL RECIPE
2 C butter
2 C white sugar
2 C brown sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla


4 C flour
1 t salt
2 t baking powder
2 t baking soda
3 C oatmeal
2 C graham flour (ground up graham crackers works)


24 oz chocolate chips (4 C)
1 dark chocolate (8 oz) bar, chipping into chunks, optional
3 C chopped nuts, optional


Mix together in a large bowl – butter, and both sugars until creamy. Add eggs & vanilla, beating thoroughly.


Mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, oatmeal, & graham flour in separate bowl.


Stir together mixtures. Add chocolate & nuts. Roll into balls or scoop with a small ice cream scoop, placing 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake about 10 min at 375 degrees.
