I&#8217;ll leave this post here but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lee.org\/blog\/2020\/10\/08\/jk-rowling-and-gender\/\">please read this post<\/a>]<\/p>\r\n<p>[original, outdated post is below]<\/p>\r\n<p>There has been much fierce discussion about JK Rowling&#8217;s statements concerning gender and trans-gender issues.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jkrowling.com\/opinions\/j-k-rowling-writes-about-her-reasons-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues\/\">JK Rowling&#8217;s long post about trans-gender issues<\/a>. To cut through all the flak, what I read is this &#8220;Be cautious about encouraging people to change their gender too quickly.&#8221; I fully support that position.
