Usually I just find people that are hotlinking to my site.<\/p>\n<p>They just love <a href=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/journal\/this-sign-has-sharp-edges.jpg\">this image <\/a>on myspace. I&#8217;ve been getting 4,000 hits a month on it for a good while.<\/p>\n<p>The latest big thing is my family&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/journal\/christmas-tree.jpg\">Christmas tree<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s apparently being sent around in a Yahoo email (<a href=\"http:\/\/us.f307.mail.yahoo.com\/ym\/ShowLetter?MsgId=7593_7131811_180650_5443_0_0_17194_12453\">example referer<\/a>)  and now it&#8217;s popping up in blogs all over! Wee!<a href=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/blog\/images\/20061215secondmostpopularchristmastreeonthedarpanets.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/blog\/images\/thumb-20061215secondmostpopularchristmastreeonthedarpanets.jpg\" alt=\"Mine is the second most popular tree on Google Images\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p># of hits<br \/>\n5,000 November<br \/>\n23,000 December<br \/>\n15,000 The first 5 days of January<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve seen this tree, do not attempt to apprehend. Just forward the email to me too!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 12-15-06:<\/strong> I&#8217;ve noticed the hit counts rise again this Christmas season. Mine is the second most popular Christmas tree on the internet!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 2-8-07<\/strong>:<br \/>\nBarbara sent me the final image of the ad.
