When I was signing in, I stated my political party confidently, &#8220;I&#8217;m <em>the<\/em> Libertarian&#8221;. The lady giving out paper ballots responded with surprise, &#8220;You&#8217;re the first one today!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"the-libertarian-in-the-mission\" href=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/the-libertarian-in-the-mission.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-2032 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/the-libertarian-in-the-mission.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"the-libertarian-in-the-mission\" width=\"400\" height=\"70\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We ended up staying until the polls closed.
