Useful but ugly and slow because it&#8217;s uncachable.<\/p>\n<p>So I just installed <a href=\"http:\/\/justinblanton.com\/projects\/smartarchives\/\">Smart Archives<\/a>. To make it work, I also had to install <a href=\"http:\/\/bluesome.net\/post\/2005\/08\/18\/50\/\">Exec-PHP<\/a>. I was a bit reluctant because enabling PHP in posts could be a security hole but&#8230; eh, it&#8217;ll be fine, right?<\/p>\n<p>Now, <a href=\"http:\/\/lee.org\/blog\/archives\/\">my archives are all pretty-like<\/a>. I insist on a straightforward appearing archive. None of that javascript fancyness because then you can&#8217;t use the Find function of your browser to locate posts.
