I’ve posted about the telemarketing Do-Not-Call list before, here<\/a><\/p>\n

I just came across this site selling telemarketing phone number scrubber software. The most interesting bit is their Recent Do-Not-Call Fines<\/a> page. A local version is at the bottom of this post.<\/p>\n

It’s been about 4 years \u00a0 since I first registered myself on donotcall.gov<\/a> so I figured it was time to re-register myself and my family (it is supposed to expire after 5 years to give the telemarketers a chance). I found out that they won’t be dropping phone numbers<\/a> from the Do Not Call registry. The list has 145 million phone numbers in it. Wow, that can’t leave much room for telemarketers…<\/p>\n
