As part of a\u00a0large, funded research\u00a0project<\/b>, I’m looking for locations where people spend large amounts of time under flickering lights. If you know of such locations, please reach out to me! Please don’t reach out to the owners of the lighting yet, that would be the job of the lead researchers.<\/p>\n

You can verify the lighting flickers by setting your phone to record on super-slow mode and record a short video. If the resulting video flickers like this<\/a>, or this<\/a> you’re on the right track!<\/p>\n

The best locations for this research project have ballast-bypass lighting, where the old fluorescent ballast was removed and replaced with LED-based tubes. But any area where people spend lots of time under flickering lighting is worth mentioning!

Great locations would be:
\n– locations or organizations where tens to thousands of people\u00a0use lighting that flickers
\n– anywhere in the US
\n– K-12 school classrooms
\n– offices
\n– academic testing centers
\n– industrial work spaces<\/p>\n

Finding these locations could make a big difference and we need your help!<\/p>\n
